I am so honored to have been asked to be the opening performer for Tito Puente Jr. for the 3rd Annual Cincinnati Salsa Festival. The event is Saturday July 31st at Sawyer Point and is free to the public. Those of you who really know me, know how big of an honor this is for me.  In 1998 I was in awe as I met his father Tito Puente  who remains one of my musical heroes.  As if meeting him wasn’t enough, I interviewed him for radio, and shared the stage with him during his concert as we played timables together with his orchestra.  I was asked to perform the song that I wrote for Tito Puente after his passing in 2000.  The song is on my debut CD “Diary of a Diva” titled “My Inspiration.” I hope to see you there.  Many pictures to come soon.

“A WOMAN’S WORK” -A HUNEYBROWN INC. PRODUCTION TO APPEAR AT WARE BANQUET CENTER

Huneybrown Inc. and Ms Teresa Hunt are proud to present “A Woman’s Work” featuring: Beverly Jackson, Jeanne Harman, Yvette “Diva” Williams and Teresa Hunt in concert on Sunday August 15th from 4-8pm.  The concert will be held at the Ware Banquet Center located at 735 Cincinnati Street Dayton, OH.  Tickets are $10 and available at the Ware Banquet Center in advance or at the door.

Visionary and Vocalist Teresa Hunt took the Dayton jazz music scene by storm several years ago as a headliner for the Dayton Michelob Women in Jazz festivals, and was a demanded vocalist in the Dayton area. She now resides in Phoenix, AZ and is returning to Dayton to showcase and collaborate with handpicked Dayton talent.

Jackson, Harman, and Williams have all also performed for the Michelob Women in Jazz festivals and are featured artists throughout the region.
